Kids Yoga
Teacher Training Programme

Wow! What a fantastic 3 days it has been doing Kids Yoga Teacher training with Fiona. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming, as I was initially nervous as a novice Yogi, but was immediately made to feel at home and relaxed. There was no pressure to be as flexible or expert in poses. After the first day, I had changed my initial opinions about what I perceived Yoga was. I was shown how different Kids Yoga is to adult Yoga, it so much more active and exciting alongside being calming and mindful. As a primary teacher, it has highlighted the huge links to Primary PE curriculum and the benefits Yoga can have within schools for children both physically and emotionally. I have learnt so much and am itching to put it all into practise. I would highly recommend anyone to take theopportunity of training with Fiona.

I have found ‘my people!’ This course has enabled me to link up with women who are just as passionate about creating communities the celebrate inclusivity and individuality and Fiona is at the heart of this.
Children’s yoga is not about religion and as a Christian I can who heartily say that. Its values and practise enables children to access the tools they need to help with stress, anxiety and all those big emotions that surround them these days.
Through breathing techniques, posture and mellow moments, they can breath and take stock of their day, life or challenge. Children can celebrate their individuality, imagination along side developing their physical skills in a non-competitive way.
This course has reignited my creativity and given me the skills to bring favourite stories to life, find music that awakens and quiets the mind and pushed me out of my comfort zone both physically and mentally.
I can’t wait to share what I’ve learnt with my staff at the hive, find ways to support the wider community and most importantly support my beautiful daughter.

I really enjoyed the Kids' Yoga Teacher Training course and got so much from it! It had a great mixture of theory, written tasks and plenty of hands-on practice. Fiona’s experience really shines through – she shares relatable tips and tricks that make everything feel practical and doable. I loved how the days were structured just like actual Music Box Meditation yoga sessions, giving me a deeper understanding of how to run classes. The practical teaching tasks and assignments were super helpful, and experiencing full yoga sessions aimed at different age groups was invaluable. On top of everything else, it’s fantastic that the course is Yoga Alliance certified! Overall, this course has sparked so many ideas and given me the confidence to lead my own Kids’ Yoga sessions!

The kids yoga teacher training offered and delivered by Fiona was intense, detailed, fun and challenging. Fiona made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout, she encouraged us to step outside our comfort zones so that we achieved things we thought we couldn't do. Following the course, Fiona remains supportive and offers advise and encouragement. I cannot recommend this course enough if you want to make a difference to the well being of children!
